About us Bed & Breakfast • Siena The “Antica Residenza Cicogna” owes its name to the Cicogna family who had lived there for two centuries using it as a winter residence till the Second World War, when the house was devoted to the poor. Then the building was divided and let for various purposes.
In 2004 Elisa, descendant of the Cicogna family, has decided to bring the residence of her ancestors back to its previous state and with her mother Cecilia (daughter of Maria Cicogna) supervised personally the refurbishment works day by day, thus guaranteeing the authenticity and respect of the historical references.
Returned back to its new life the “Antica Residenza Cicogna” open the doors to those who will choose to stay in its beautiful frescoed rooms, enriched by antique furniture and drapery,
Elisa, her father Fabio an their friends Ilaria, Silvia and Enrica will welcome you in a warm homely atmosphere which will be able to give you even more special memories of Siena.
